D3 VPN

Privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

This policy describes how D3 Digital Designs Ltd (“we”) handles personal information when you use the D3 VPN Android app. It does not cover the company website. That is explained in the website privacy policy.

Who we are

The data controller is D3 Digital Designs Ltd, registered in England and Wales. You can contact us at privacy@d3digitaldesigns.co.uk.

The VPN

D3 VPN provides a private network through Android’s VPN connection. While the VPN is connected, internet traffic from the device is encrypted between the device and the VPN server.

We do not sell personal information. We do not inspect the contents of VPN traffic in order to build advertising profiles. We do not redirect traffic from other apps in order to change or monetise advertising.

Information we process

  • Connection data. The technical data required to establish, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the VPN tunnel. We keep it only for as long as that purpose requires, then delete it. We do not keep a history of the websites you visit for marketing.
  • Purchases. If you buy a subscription, Google Play processes the payment. We receive the purchase status from Google so we can tell whether the subscription is active. We do not receive your card number.
  • Support messages. If you email us, we keep your email address, the message, and any details you choose to send, for as long as we need to answer you and keep a record of the request.
  • App and device details you send us. If you include an app version, Android version, or similar diagnostic detail in a support request, we use it to investigate that request.

D3 VPN does not include third-party advertising or analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this policy before the change reaches customers.

Why we process it

We process this information to provide the VPN, keep the service secure, handle subscriptions, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Where UK GDPR requires a lawful basis, we rely on contract (providing the service you asked for), legitimate interests (securing and troubleshooting the service, in a way that does not override your rights), or legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We share information with providers who host or operate the VPN for us, under contract and only for that work, and with Google when a purchase goes through Google Play. We also disclose information when the law requires it.

Where it is processed

VPN servers and service providers may be outside the United Kingdom. When that happens, we use the safeguards required by UK GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Connection data is kept only for as long as we need it to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the VPN. Support correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to resolve and record the request. Purchase status is kept for as long as the subscription relationship, and any related accounting duty, continues.

Your rights

Depending on your circumstances, you can ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email privacy@d3digitaldesigns.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

D3 VPN is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above.
